Accessories are similar to the cherry atop of an ice cream sundae (is it obvious I am addicted!?). While unnecessary, they add a sweet touch. This simple tee (#NSale) + a classic pair of skinnies is plain and nearly naked. Do not get me wrong, an over-sized shirt, flats, and jeans are my daily go-to, but some occasions require just a tiny bit more oomph or a pinch of personality through jewelry and scarves.
When I am running around town, sometimes my favorite wrist stack is seemingly overdressed for the occasion. For circumstances like these, I put my sterling silver to the back of the armoire and focus foremost on my trustworthy, yet affordable pieces.
Stella & Dot is one of my favorite brands for luxury styling on a budget. Their jewels are incredibly versatile, maintain reputable quality, and offer pieces to suit conservative and edgier personas alike. Just yesterday, they debuted their 2016 Fall Collection and it is nothing short of remarkable. There is a perfect mixture of bold, metallic pieces + sassy leopard prints + timeless classics. You can see all of Stella & Dot‘s Fall line here, or I linked a few of my personal favorites below!
With my pieces I took a more seemingly daring approach, but incorporated my personal feminine fashion to yield a perfectly balanced look of modern + neutral. I absolutely adore this tote, it is massive! It is perfect for running errands and beach bum days. I used it to haul outfits around the city shooting last weekend and it easily fit three outfits + room to spare. Bonus: it is reversible (just like this scarf)! My other accessories flaunt hues of whites, blues, burgundys, and plums so they are appropriate for the remaining Summer months and will flawlessly transform to Fall wear come late September.
