Make it pop like pink champagne, or so Ariana Grande says.
But by it, I mean this flawless blush shift dress. I am very much a lover of neutrals—pale pinks, whites, ivory, taupes, champagnes, mauves— you name it, I adore it. To some, this color palette may be rather boring and the opposite of bold and adventurous. In my opinion, neutrals are far more audacious than any chartreuse or fuchsia.
Of course, I have a rather modest and conservative sense of fashion. Simply, I am perfectly content with flaunting these shades of white naturally—no additional effort needed. Although, not all of you can wear a little white dress without complete b-o-r-e-d-o-m and a side of outright yawning. Even I crave a bolder statement every once in awhile. So, I’m sharing my favorite tips and tricks for sprucing up an ensemble (this shift dress is the perfect blank canvas) to truly make it a statement:
One of the simplest ways to add a little glam to a colorless dress is to add a necklace. Make it big, make it bright, and make it bold. I’ve linked some of my favorites!
This speaks for itself, nothing pairs more perfectly than a little black dress and a classy red pout. If red isn’t for you, here’s a few of my favorite corals, magentas, and berrys.
Whether unique in color, style, or structure, a statement pair of shoes is a promised attention-hog.
Not only will a belt be a guaranteed eye-catcher, but also can add craved curves to an otherwise shapeless dress.
If you’re still a tad shy (fashion-wise) or simply prefer a neutral closet, I am currently adoring this blush dress linked below. It is simple, chic, and trendy and can easily be styled for a day at the office or a night out on the town. I paired this darling shift dress with my favorite nude heel, but it would also be perfect with a pair of lace-up flats. If you’re loving these valorous styles, I would love to see how you’re implementing my tips and tricks! Also, be watching for how I incorporate these trends into my latest ensembles.
Have a lovely day,
