A picture is worth a thousand words, or so they say.
Since moving into K and I’s new house after our wedding our walls have been blank. Some might call it plain Jane, modern, or simplistic. I consider it a premature novel, in the drafting stage if you will. With all the blank spaces, our walls are essentially memories waiting to be told.
Of course, what better way to begin decorating than with our wedding photos? Our photographer, Steven Michael Photo, captured our wedding day perfectly. The day sped by so quickly it seemed like the most beautiful blur and we are beyond grateful for the photos he flawlessly captured. I’ve had a few photos in the back of my mind that I have been waiting to create a little shrine of our special day, but starting with a completely blank canvas can be overwhelming. The first of those photos was prior to walking down the aisle and seeing each other for the very first time. K’s childhood pastor shared a blessing over us and our future marriage to come. Secondly, one of our first photos as Mr. and Mrs!
I bounced between a gallery wall in our entry way, captured memories on our bedside tables, and even tiny frames on my vanity. However, starting small and building a foundation seemed like the best way to make our house a home, so I chose two simple white frames with two of my favorite photos from our day.
Framebridge is an exceptional framing company in which decorating your home is as easy as 1, 2, 3
1 | Submit your favorite images.
You may do this by simply uploading your photos online or mailing in a cherished memory (I chose the former). K and I also debated on framing the lyrics of our first dance song!
2 | Choose your size.
Individualize the size of your photo, frame, and matte! I chose the ‘Irivine’ which is a clean white gallery frame in the size 14″ x 14″.
3 | Hang your images.
If you are newlyweds like us, you will have plenty of blank walls to take advantage of Framebridge frames.
I had the very best time playing around with the Framebridge app. There is a concept where you can choose a frame and visualize it on your very own wall! Lets just say I am easily pleased and spent hours choosing the perfect frames for our home, but I could not be more excited once my frames arrived. They add a much-needed touch of ‘us’ to our first home and I look forward to cherishing these images till death do us part ;-).
Have a perfect weekend,
